Young women who wish to attend the event must raise their own funds for their travel expenses by enlisting the help of their provincial motivators or by using the helpful hints found in the fundraising kit.
Provincial Mobilizers
The mobilization of young women across Canada along with their participation in organizing Waves of Resistance! are key factors in making the event A success. Dozens of young feminists from all provinces and territories of Canada responded to the Organizing Team’s call for provincial mobilizers by having accepted the role. The Organizing Team has been in regular contact with these young women, who have been promoting the event in their network; circulating the promotional materials; and mobilizing young women of their regions to take part in the gathering.
If you wish to participate in the event and need help with raising funds for your travel costs, please contact the Organizing Team to obtain the name and contact information of your local, provincial or territory mobilizer at mobilisation@rebelles2008.org.

Fundraising Kit
The Organizing Team has developed this fundraising kit to make it easier for future participants to fundraise for their travel expenses so that they may attend the event taking place in Montreal.
