Le Comité Artistique du Rassemblement pancanadien des jeunes féministes Toujours RebELLEs ! est présentement à la recherche de différentes artistes pour cet événement qui aura lieu les 11, 12 et 13 octobre prochains à Montréal. Il vise la participation de 300 à 400 jeunes femmes, âgées entre 14 et 35 ans en provenance de toutes les régions du Canada. Toujours RebELLEs ! se veut un événement participatif qui permette aux jeunes femmes et aux jeunes féministes de partout à travers le Canada de se rencontrer, d'échanger, de partager leurs analyses et leurs expériences comme jeunes femmes, de discuter d'enjeux qui les affectent directement, de collectiviser leurs luttes féministes et de festoyer ensemble !
Vous vous sentez une âme artistique, vous êtes une artiste ou vous connaissez des femmes de votre entourage qui correspondent à ce que nous cherchons ? Rien de plus simple ! Lisez tout d'abord les différentes possibilités « d'implications artistiques » qui s'offrent à vous et remplissez le formulaire ci-joint qui est à retourner avant le 22 août prochain.
Différentes possibilités s'offrent à vous :
1) Exposition permanente: Vous êtes une artiste accomplie qui avez différentes œuvres à exposer ? (peinture, artisanat, dessin, sculpture, poteries, etc.) Elles pourront l'être durant tout le Rassemblement à la place publique de l'Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), lieu de l'événement.
2) Vidéo/documentaires : Pendant le Rassemblement, nous prévoyons avoir un coin « Vidéo/documentaires » où nous pourrons visualiser différentes créations féministes. Nous aimerions que les réalisatrices puissent nous faire une courte présentation de leur projet,soit en personne, par vidéo, par écrit, etc.
3) Kiosques artistiques : Tout au long du Rassemblement, différents ateliers seront proposés aux femmes présentes. Cependant, nous aimerions ajouter une dimension plus « artistique » à tout cela en tenant des kiosques un peu partout à travers l'UQAM où les jeunes femmes pourront se livrer à différentes expressions artistiques et féministes. (Par exemple, murale collective, création de macarons sur place, pochoir, sérigraphie, etc.) Vous êtes intéressée et voulez nous proposer un kiosque de ce genre ? N'hésitez surtout pas !
Note : ces kiosques sont pour les présentations artistiques SEULEMENT, l'offre pour les kiosques de présentation de groupe ou d'organisme sera lancé sous peu.
4) Grand spectacle féministe du dimanche 12 octobre 2008 : Un grand spectacle aura lieu le dimanche soir ! Nous cherchons donc des jeunes femmes artistes et/ou féministes variées pour créer un événement inoubliable. Que ce soit en chant, en danse, en théâtre, en art du cirque, etc. toutes les idées sont bienvenues. Pour participer au spectacle, nous vous demandons de ne pas seulement remplir le formulaire, mais aussi de nous faire parvenir un démo (aux coordonnées que vous trouverez plus bas) ou le lien du site web vers lequel nous pourrions entendre ou voir vos talents ! Lors du spectacle, un espace sera réservé aux artistes afin qu'elles puissent présenter leur matériel (disque, matériel promotionnel, etc). À noter que le Comité artistique ne prendra probablement pas tous les numéros proposés (question de temps, de matériel nécessaire et/ou de diversité des numéros et des femmes sur la scène). Nous vous en aviserons dans les plus brefs délais.
5) Le Manifeste a besoin d'illustratrices ! : Nous souhaitons sortir du rassemblement avec un outil commun, un manifeste qui reflètera les discussions ayant eu lieu, les analyses et les luttes que nous menons et que nous souhaitons mener en tant que jeunes femmes et jeunes féministes. Ce manifeste ira au-delà du rassemblement et nous permettra de laisser notre trace et de nous faire entendre de l'ensemble du mouvement des femmes. Ainsi, dans le but d'amener une touche artistique à ce manifeste, nous désirons faire appel à des illustratrices militantes désirant contribuer en illustration à ce grand outil commun que sera le manifeste ! À noter que le Comité Artistique peut débourser pour financer le transport de quelques artistes du spectacle SEULEMENT, mais nous encourageons toutes les jeunes femmes à autofinancer leur transport. (En pièce jointe, vous trouverez le kit de financement qui pourrait vous être très utile.)
